MEREL VAN DER STELT

Technical Medicine Student

Merel was the first Technical Medicine student who went to Sierra Leone from December 2018 to February 2019. She did a feasibility study on how a 3D printing could be of added value in a resource-limited healthcare setting. Now she is working on a graduation internship in which she is doing researching into 3D printed lower leg prostheses.

ANDREA STERKENBURG

Technical Medicine Student

Andrea went to Sierra Leone from June to august 2019. She continued the research into 3D printed arm prostheses and performed extra research into the improvement of the quality of life by adding EQ-5D questionnaire.

MELISSA VAN GAALEN

Technical Medicine Student

Melissa is currently in Sierra Leone from September 2019 untill November 2019. She will continue the research into 3D printed arm prostheses and medical aids.
